I’m sorry for the lack of posting lately, but we are deep in the throes of unpacking from our cross country move. Needless to say, things are crazy around here and right now I don’t want to collapse another box or fold more packing paper for a very, very long time. We still have a way to go, but I can see progress which is keeping me going. Hopefully we can finish within the next week or so and at that point I promise I will return to blogging. Also, don’t forget to send me any stateroom photos you have! You can email them to me at disneycruisemomblog@gmail.com. See you soon!

We are in the process of redoing our master bedroom walk-in closet, so all of our belongings have been pulled out of there and are scattered and piled everywhere. (We had a closet bar break and have decided to put in a quality set of shelving, which involved pulling all of the shelves out, patching, and painting) . There is currently carpet in that closet, so in choosing to redo it, we got to thinking about putting hardwood floors in there, which subsequently lead to us getting a quote for just putting hardwood in our entire upstairs. For good measure, we also asked for quotes for refinishing our downstairs floors at the same time. That means I basically need to pack and move everything we own down to the basement at some point in the near future…essentially making an entire “move” without actually going anywhere. I just can’t wait! Not!
Despite wanting to get settled into your new home, the good news is that the actual move is over and that you can take your time with the unpacking. Most people are understanding about how long it takes for a family to get things sorted and stored after a large move like the one your family has undertaken. I hope you are happy in your new area and enjoying your summer.

Well that’s a bummer!!! There are not many things I hate more than packing and moving stuff. I really feel for you! At least you will get some nice new floors out of it though, that will be exciting!
