Day 4: At Sea
The morning of our sea day, we took things slow and enjoyed sleeping in a little bit.
Then we went to breakfast at Triton’s since we had the time. We enjoyed a relaxed, quiet breakfast. I had the Mickey waffles, which I have to get at least once. My mom had a custom omelet.
After breakfast we went outside to the pool and upper decks to walk around. Not very many people out and about mid-morning.
I think we spent the rest of the morning relaxing in our room. And then we decided to go back to Triton’s for a sit-down lunch. I had just soup and an appetizer because I wasn’t that hungry. But then I also had the sundae, so…priorities. 🙂
After lunch, we both had spa appointments. Just to continue the theme of relaxing that day!
My mom had a facial after her massage so when my massage was done, I went back to the room and showered. Then I went up to the concierge lounge to take advantage of the afternoon tea. I love hot tea and the cookies they had were so good!
More relaxing and hanging out reading and watching movies in our stateroom until dinner that night. We were in Animator’s Palate.
I had my favorite appetizer (Black Truffle Pasta Purseittes) and my mom had the Arugula Leaves with Red Beets and Oranges. She ordered the Ginger Teriyaki steak and I had the Lemon-Thyme Chicken. The steak is normally my go-to in Animator’s Palate so I got the chicken to try something different. It was surprisingly good. I topped it all off with another sundae. No regrets.
Sorcerer Mickey came out toward the end of dinner. I had missed seeing him on our last cruise in March (they were not doing his “show” in Animator’s Palate at the time), so it was fun to see him this time.
The show that night was Frozen: A Musical Spectacular, and we met our concierge team in the pub before the show to get fresh popcorn and great seats.
Then it was off to bed again after photographing our towel animal, which is a dog, maybe?
Our next day would be our stop in Victoria, BC , which we were both really looking forward to.
