Sometimes I get questions from readers that I can’t answer and I end up referring them to other resources. There are some great online resources out there for planning a Disney cruise, and I thought it would be a good idea to share all of my favorites in one place. Here they are, in no particular order. Clicking on the name will take you to the site.
Disney Cruise Line Forum on Disboards.com
The Disboards forums contain a wealth of information on all things related to Disney Travel. There are sections for all sorts of things like theme parks, resorts, restaurants, and of course, Disney Cruise Line. You can register on the site, post a question, and get all sorts of replies from cruisers with first-hand experience on the topic. You can read the information on the site without joining, but you must register to post a question. For the most part, people here are very friendly and helpful. If a reader asks a question that I can’t answer, 9 times out of 10 I refer them to this site.
TripAdvisor.com
I mostly use TripAdvisor for researching independent shore excursions (you can read my full post about it here), but also for other parts of cruise travel like hotel rooms and car services. So far it hasn’t steered me wrong.
Cruisefish.net
Cruisefish.net is a site where you can sign up and pay to be notified of price changes on cruises. I have never signed up and paid – instead, I just look at the free information it provides. The most helpful information that it provides, in my opinion, is (1) the ability to see, all on one page, a specific sailing and which room categories still have availability, and (2) the ability to instantly see each and every price change (increase or decrease) a specific room category has incurred since it was released, and the date which it happened. I have an entire blog post dedicated to Cruisefish.net, so I won’t go into detail here. Click here to read my post which includes all of the details, including how to navigate the site and find the information you need.
The Disney Cruise Line Blog
This is a great blog for all sorts of information on Disney Cruise Line. There is a huge collection of Daily Navigators and restaurant menus which I refer to often. It will also keep you up to date on all of the latest DCL news and happenings.
Cruise Critic Message Board Forums
There is a Disney Cruise Line section of the message board forums on cruisecritic.com. I admit that I have not spent a lot of time here, but I do visit occasionally if I am looking for an answer to a specific question. It works just like the message forum on Disboards.com.
Cruise Critic Cruise Ship Deck Plans
Whenever I need to reference a deck plan of one of the Disney ships, I use the deck plans on cruise critic. There are lots of deck plans available online, but these are the ones I keep coming back to. They are very user friendly. You can easily switch between ships, decks, and the stateroom categories are color-coded, which I find extremely helpful.

It’s great having all of this info organized in one place! Thanks so much!
Wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas in your new home!
