Day 10: At Sea
It was our last full day of the cruise and it was a day at sea full of activities and relaxing! We had been having a fabulous cruise so far but definitely could use a day of fun and relaxation. Sea days are always our favorite because we love to enjoy all the activities the ships have to offer. Plus today my husband and I were very excited because we had a Palo brunch reservation. It is one of our favorite things to do on every cruise! We started our day with breakfast at Cabanas as we always do, although with brunch coming up my husband and I ate very light. We then attended several activities, including animation and bingo in the morning. Then my husband and I went to Palo while the kids attended activities on their own and lunch at Cabanas on their own as well. At their ages it is nice that we can leave them to go to lunch on their own. This time our servers from dinner were working in Cabanas so they took good care of our kids while we were at Palo. We went to Palo and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We always love eating at Palo and find the food delicious.

After brunch at Palo, we met our children at the Walt Disney Theatre for the Magic and Comedy of Danny Buckler. He is a comedian and a magician who was very entertaining, and we just love the variety acts on the ships. We always find them to be fun, full of laughs and a great way to spend time while on the ship. We then went to the Final Jackpot Bingo of the cruise – we love to play Bingo and almost never miss the final bingo of the cruise. We didn’t win anything but had a great time anyway! We always find Bingo a fun time because the cruise staff is always so much fun! Our show that night was Disney Dreams, which is one on my favorites! The basic storyline revolves around Peter Pan and the Blue Fairy teaching a young girl, Anne Marie, to believe with scenes and music from multiple different Disney shows. It appears on both the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder in slightly different forms. The music, sets and costumes are just amazing and we greatly enjoyed it! Between our show and dinner we went to a fun show called Generation Gap, where they put the kids against the parents – it was great fun!
Then we headed to our last dinner with our servers. We were at Animator’s Palate that night and it was our turn to draw our figures and have them “come to life” on-screen. This is one of our favorite nights at dinner – we love to see our characters come to life and this show is always so entertaining!
Our last thing to do on the ship every time is attend ‘Til We Meet Again (or on the Fantasy and Dream it’s called Sea Ya Real Soon) where many of the characters (both classic and from the shows) come out for meet and greets for the last time before the cruise is over. It’s always a great way to end our cruise!
We had an amazing cruise, and tomorrow we dock in Dover and head to the Warner Brothers Studios Tour – the Making of Harry Potter!
