For most of the Disney Cruises we have taken as a family, we have stayed in a Category 02A One Bedroom Suite. We absolutely love these rooms! Note that this exact room is only available on the Magic and the Wonder, and there are only 4 of these specific suites on each ship. The room numbers are 8032, 8034, 8532 and 8534. They are all midship and their doors are right off the midship elevator lobby. These rooms are usually booked very quickly, so in order to reserve one you probably need to book it soon after the sailing becomes available (unless you get lucky and snag it if someone cancels). The layout is different than the Category 02B One Bedroom Suites and the main differences are that the balcony is wider (the length of 3 standard rooms instead of 2) and the twin murphy bed is in the living room (instead of the bedroom). For this post I am going to show you pictures of cabin 8032 on the Magic. I have actually stayed in this exact room twice – once before the reimagining of the Magic in Fall 2013 and once after. I am not going to show you pictures of the before version since it no longer exists, and all of these pictures were taken on our 7 night Eastern Caribbean cruise in November 2014 except for the balcony picture. It was taken before the reimagining on our 6 night Western Caribbean cruise in February 2013 (I forgot to take a picture of it on our last cruise – oops!), but nothing on the balcony was changed so it still looks like this today. Now when I took these pictures I wasn’t thinking that I may want to use them in a blog someday so I regretfully didn’t make my kids get out of the way (warning: cute kid alert!!!). Here is the living room with 2 sets of balcony doors on the left wall. The bedroom is through the door in the back:
Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture with the murphy bed down, but you can see it in the up position in the following picture. You can also see it in the down position in my post about room 8532 on the Wonder. It is the tall wood cabinet to the left of the sink. Just beyond the TV is the entryway:
Here is the entryway. On the left is a door to the bathroom and on the right is a closet, as well as a connecting door to the suite next door (room 8034).
This is the bathroom by the front door. There is a toilet and shower behind the door:
Now on to the bedroom. As you can tell, we were on the ship at Halloween and were pleasantly surprised to find our room decorated when we boarded the ship! We didn’t request these decorations, they must have put them in all of the suites. The master bathroom is through the door on the far right and the TV is on the wall at the foot of the bed:
There is another balcony door in the the bedroom:
I forgot to take a picture of the vanity area at the entrance to the master bathroom, but there is a desk area with a chair and a big mirror, with the closet on one side of it and a walk in closet on the other side. Here is the master bathroom. There is a large jacuzzi tub on the right, a double vanity on the left, and the shower is in the room in the back, across from the toilet:
Here are some better pictures of this same bathroom (only a mirror image) in my posts about room 8532 on the Wonder here and here.
The walk-in closet:
I am pretty sure that robes are only provided in the suites. (Psssst…..you can buy this AMAZING robe all for yourself to share with your spouse/children right here. (affiliate link)
The HUGE balcony:
And finally, one of our favorite perks of staying in a suite: ordering breakfast from the Main Dining Room! Does anyone else love that DCL bacon as much as I do?!?
We love everything about this room and one of the 4 mid ship Category T Suites will always be our first choice when sailing on the Magic or Wonder.

Hey there! Did you get a lot of hallway noise, being located right off the midship elevators? Also, what about noise from the public area above?
Disney Cruise Mom says
Hi! We didn’t experience any noise from the hallway, and only minimal from above – the occasional chair scraping or pitter-patter of foot steps. I had read reports beforehand about the noise complaints, but I decided to risk it because I really wanted a midship cabin because the murphy bed is in the living room instead of the bedroom and having 3 kids we use all of the beds. I’m glad we went for it because like I said the noise was minimal, and we loved the layout of the room.

Hi! We are planning a DC with Mom, grandmother, Aunt and 2 kids. Would the 1 bedroom suite work or should we get 2 regular staterooms? We don’t mind to bunk together. Really like the perks of suite.
Thank you
Disney Cruise Mom says
Hi Rachel! The one bedroom suite will work as long as 2 people are okay sleeping on a sofa bed. If everyone wants a real bed, then getting 2 separate rooms would be better.
Cathy says
Is there a refrigerator and/or freezer in Stateroom 8032?
Disney Cruise Mom says
Hi Cathy! There’s a small refrigerator, but no freezer.

Hi, thank you for your review. We are sailing on the Magic in bedroom 8546, Magic on November 24, 2018, this will be our first Concierge suite room. I am beyond excited and was going to change to Forward. I am glad I read your review, because the balcony is bigger. I will keep my room, thanks again!
Disney Cruise Mom says
Melissa, room 8546 on the Magic has a much different layout than this room. The verandah is also much smaller. The only 4 one bedroom suites that have this larger verandah & sideways layout are 8032, 8034, 8532, and 8534. Room 8546 has the same layout/verandah as this room: http://www.disneycruisemomblog.com/disney-magic-room-8086/
Kevin says
Was the TV in the master bedroom smaller than the normal 1-Bedroom suites bedrooms on the Magic? I found this picture https://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w460/EvianCay/027121dc.jpg
Looks like tv is centered to the bed which we love where-as on the normal 1-Bedrooms the TV is off to the wall on the right but looks larger. We like to watch some Disney movies in bed with the kids when we go to relax.
Can you confirm if TV is smaller? Wish it wasn’t because that could steer us towards the normal 1-Bedrooms : (
Thx!
Disney Cruise Mom says
Hi Kevin! Unfortunately I have not stayed in one of these rooms since 2015 and I believe they have all received makeovers since then. If I had to guess I would think the size is the same as I doubt they would have replaced that entire cabinet.

I have never stayed in this room but I believe it has a queen bed and twin Murphy bed in the bedroom area, and a queen sofa bed in the living room area. Here is a video tour:

It is a twin size bed.
Carys says
Is concierge one bedroom suite cabin 8546 contacted to concierge one bedroom suite cabin number 8544.
Please answer ASAP
Disney Cruise Mom says
Those rooms are connected, but room 8544 is not a one bedroom suite. It is a concierge family oceanview stateroom with verandah, which is much smaller than the one bedroom suite.
