As some of you know, we recently followed Danielle Guy as she cruised through the Mediterranean for 10 nights with her family. They stayed in stateroom 6030 and 6532 and she was kind enough to review these rooms for us.
Room 6532 is a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with a Verandah and is a category 5C. It is on the starboard side of the ship and just a few doors down from the forward elevators. This stateroom does not connect to another stateroom. This room sleeps up to 4 guests and provides easy access to the Cove Café, the adult pool, After Hours, the spa, the Walt Disney Theatre, and the shopping areas. The forward staterooms tend to be quieter, which is why we always prefer to stay closer to the front of the ship.
When Disney designed the bathrooms in most staterooms (category 10 and higher), the Imagineers knew that it would be stressful for families to get ready for excursions with only one bathroom area. For this reason, you will notice that this room has a divided bathroom, with a shower/bath and sink in one room, and the toilet and sink in another. In category 11 rooms, there is only one bathroom that houses the bath/shower, sink, and toilet.
Here is the room with the shower/tub and a sink:

Here you can see the couch on one side and the cabinets, desk, and television on the other side. The stool for the desk fits perfectly underneath the cabinet, so you never have to worry about tripping over furniture. Above the couch, the bunk bed pulls down at night, giving everyone their space to sleep without requiring a rollaway bed. Disney truly utilized every nook and cranny in the space provided, giving us more than enough cabinets for four people to store their belongings, and not a single person had to live out of their suitcase over the period of 10 days.
Here is the view from the verandah. We always splurge for the verandah rooms, as it truly builds the excitement as the ship sails into a new destination. The verandahs are large, and are the perfect place to unwind after a long day of excursions.
